The Chemical Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ follows the motto “Tradition and Vanguard”. Tradition, because we were the first graduate studies program in Chemical Engineering in our country and, at the same time, the embryo of COPPE, which is today’s biggest center of graduate studies and research of Engineering in Brazil. Vanguard, because, being proud of our history, we seek to continue innovating, whether in our researches, in our courses, in our Virtual Pilot School, or in the way to host you.
