LTFD is currently equipped with:

• A multi-purpose workbench with bubble column unit;
• A direct contact evaporation pilot unit for experimental analyses.

LFTD possesses a structure for development of works and teaching of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation, as well as for parallel scientific computing, equipped with:

• codes of their own;
• free software (OpenFOAM from NABLA);
• commercial CFD software (CFX from ANSYS, PHOENICS from CHAM). 
• And for parallel processing there are two Beowulf Clusters available.
